Private Hands-On Cooking Class Options

Book your next Private Event at Experience Cooking! Our classes are fully hands-on and are held in the chef's private home's Gourmet Kitchen.

  • Availability:      M-F daytime & evening

  • Duration:         2 hours

  • Included:          Full sit down dinner/lunch/brunch

  • Bonus:             Bring your choice of drink to enjoy During dinner

We will spend about 1.5 hours cooking, then have 30 minutes for socializing/eating for a total time of 2 hours (time can be extended for additional room rental fee).

*Our classes are curated based on menu, timing and space. We are not able to make menu substitutions.

Perfecting Beef Wellington

In this class, Chef Jessica will teach you how to prepare a perfect Beef Wellington with perfectly paired side dishes. Don't be surprised if the finished meal resembles what you would get in a fine dinning restaurant.

Homemade Pasta

In our pasta making classes we learn the original way of making pasta. Each participant starts by making a well into their flour and then incorporating eggs, oil, and salt. We then work to create a cohesive dough. Then the dough is kneaded, rested, rolled out, filled, then cut into raviolis.

 

Menu: 5-Cheese Ravioli, Sage Brown Butter sauce, Crispy Pancetta, Side of Seasonal Vegetables, Chocolate Covered Strawberry.

Grandma's Gnocchi

Menu:

French Inspired Class!

The Art Of Macarons

Whisk yourself into a Paris patisserie as Chef Jessica will teach you how to whip, fold and pipe your way to Macaron perfection. During class you will break out into groups of two to make various flavors of shells. Once your batter is ready, you'll learn how pipe like a pro. We will let the macarons rest before baking and jump right into our fillings! Our macarons will be sandwiched with different fillings, from an infused dark chocolate ganache to dulce de leche. You will take several macarons home to share with your family.

Mexican Fiesta

In this international cuisine class, we'll create some classic Mexican dishes and throw in a few twists to spice up the menu. We'll spin some mariachi tunes and reminisce about the good old days at the hacienda. ¡Comer, beber y ser feliz!

Homemade Corn Tortillas, Pork Carnitas (slow braised citrus pork) Tacos, Homemade Guacamole & Pico de gallo

Corn Salad with Tomato, Lime and Queso Fresco, & Tres Leche Cake (We will make in class then take home to eat the next day. It needs to sit in your fridge for at least 4 hours)

Bold Latin Flavors

Menu:

Seared Steak w. Fire Roasted Tomato & Guajillo Chile Sauce, Cheddar & Roasted Jalapeño Cornbread, Plantains coated w. Garlic/Cilantro Sauce, Tres Leches Cake (Make in class then eat at home-cake needs to sit in your refrigerator for over 3 hours).

A tradition held dear across the entire country, Spaniards enjoy tapas throughout the day with a cold glass of beer or wine. The perfect bite-sized snack to tide you over between meals, the variety of tapas make them perfect for any entertaining situation. Learn to create various tapas recipes and a Spanish custard dessert!
